MISSION ACCOMPLISHED


It's my first 15km run in last Saucony Passion Run Singapore on 24 May 2009. I completed the race for 1hrs 37mins using the normal standard leg.

SINGAPORE BAY RUN AND ARMY HALF MARATHON 2009





This is my first time in the Army Half Marathon 2009 since my operation last December 2008.
I manage to run 21km with the timing of 2hrs 55mins 58 sec. I am happy to be there and there's lot of runners and members of public supporting me during my run. Thanks to all. I am happy for my buddy Hilda Natasha who also the first time in this race and manage to do well. Keep it up buddy! Thanks to my daughter Nur' Atiqah and her classmate Eunice for company me since 4am and also Power 98FM and Straits Time reporter to have a time for the interview.

KETTLEBELL TRAINING BY COACH ANDYN




Every Sunday and Wednesday night, i will be training KettleBell at Woodland Fitness Corner with few of the athlete out there. It's has improved our running endurance and training. Now we look good in our shape.
Meet some of our athlete over there such as Aylwin, Din, Gazali and many more who will be joining us after fasting Month in Sept 2009.
Coach Andyn is a experince trainer and he has taught more than hundred students. KettleBell workouts are intended to increase strength, endurance, agility and balance, challenging both the muscular and cardiovascular system with dynamic, total-body movements.
KettleBell or Girla is a traditional Russian cast iron weight looking somewhat like a cannonball with handle. The KettleBell has become a popular exercise tool in the United States.

SINGAPORE RUNNING CLUB (SRC) ON NATIONAL DAY 9 AUGUST




On 9 August 2009, Singapore 44th Birthday and also it's our first Singapore Running Club event, The National Day Fun Walk. We walk into the Lornie trial of Macritchie Reservoir with the distance of 5km and Jack on the wheel manage to complete. We had a great party and will do it more better in future.

LOOKING FOR SPONSORS

My next lists for 2010 is to climb Mountain in Malaysia get the experince before heading to New Zealand and India for training. By 2015, I have set up my goals to climb the Mount Everest as the first amputee in Singapore. To set this, not an easy. I worked as a part time sale in Novena, earning less than $800 and 50% of my salary goes to my family expenses and the balance i need to save up for my training. I am looking for sponsor. I am doing this not for myself but for Singapore and i want to do it in our 50th Birthday in 2015 and it's also to support all Charity in Singapore. SINGAPORE RUNNING CLUB (SRC)

This group is to inspire and encourage all to take up running as a healty recreation. Many people ask me why I want to promote running. Well, I have a very strong passion for the sport of running. As I was born without a left leg below knee, it is only after 36 years that I discovered the joy of running. Running has given new meaning to my life and it is wonderful to have something I can wake up to everyday. Let join me in the run every Monday and Friday morning for 5km and every Wednesday morning for 20km and every Sunday morning for bricks walk 5km in the forest of Macritchie Reservoir to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. THE NORTH FACE 100 PROGRESSIVE RUN 2009

I started my first progressive run 10km in the forest of Macritchie Reservoir. I manage to complete the run on a wet weather with 1hrs 37mins. I need to improved on the run and will be using my new Flex-run leg from ossurs soon.

Meet the new kid in Asia, GC1 "Gener8 Composites" Prosthetic leg. It's a local composite manufacturing and design company run by an ex-Paralympian that aims to provide prosthetic limbs to developing countries. I will use this leg for my training purpose. Thanks to the person who sponsor this leg.
